Supports manufacturing processes activities to ensure we deliver the highest quality products to our customers and patients expect, at the lowest cost and quickest lead time.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Publishes and maintains manufacturing, test, and rework instructions.

* Assesses manufacturing efficiency by analyzing process flow and performance data. Participates in root cause analysis to better understand failure modes and implement countermeasures and permanent process improvements.

* Assist engineering in evaluating and defining requirements for manufacturing and test systems and processes.

* Provide support to manufacturing in conducting the evaluation of nonconforming product and process related issues using a risk-based approach to resolve problems.

* Serves as a manufacturing process SME that partners with R & D for DfM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback, solving complex issues, and releasing new products.

* Maintains records and reporting systems according to the company standards and industry regulations.

* Independently manage work center processes documentation, rework support, tool troubleshooting, and improvement implementation.

* Actively coaches less experienced team members and provides oversight for projects and daily work.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

* Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.

* Proficiency in using manufacturing, test, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

* Proficiency in creating, reviewing, and editing of relevant technical documents.

* Hands-on experience in manufacturing, test, or production processes

* Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with technicians and engineers.

Required Education and Experience:

* High school diploma with 8 years of related experience in a production technician or engineering technician role.

* Experience in Medical Devices or similarly regulated environment.

Desired Education and Experience:

* Lean / Six Sigma training

* Engineering or technical associate degree

* Formal technical writing training or equivalent experience

The base pay range for this position is

Min $63,400 - Max $108,000

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
