It is the primary responsibility of the Lead EVS Trainer to perform a variety of duties to support the effective functioning of the department, assist in the development, implementation, facilitation and/or evaluation of training programs to include but are not limited to: new hire training, task and core service standard training for the Environmental Services Department, and other training as assigned by the (Supervisors, Manager or Director. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and PHC's policies, practices, and procedures. Responsibilities
Work closely with the Supervisors to develop, facilitate and evaluate general training programs as required. -Update and create EVS policies as needed -Ensure all employee files are up to date with their training records -Present at the Enviromental and Infection Prevention meetings -Create competencies as needed with the assistance of the Supervisors -Update the EVS department CBL -Set up a monthly meeting with the Supervisors & Manager to report out on the completion of CBL's, competencies, quality check scores and completion rate. -Set up training for staff that do not meet the quality check critiria -Set up a weekly plan for the Trainer -Be in charge of the onboarding process and delegate as necessary -Hold staff accountable for errors and report this information to the Supervisors for further follow through -Create agenda for department meetings, present at meetings -Create monthly qualitity check scores, present this information and post at all locations -Post hand hygiene scores at all EVS department locations -Look for areas of improvent and keep track of trends with failed quality checks and present a plan to the Supervisors and Manager Education

Bring concerns to the Management team and work on a plan to retrain staff to bring them to the levels of expectations in EVS.Holdthe Trainer and back upTrainers accountable for filling out the correct training documentation. Do periodic evaluaitons on their skill set and present and train on new processes and equipment. Prepare power points and educational material for staff as necessary. Requirements:
