What you'll be doing...This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of the Department of Defense Skillbridge Program or are participants of the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 1-2025 This Software Development Engineer role within the VGS VCG Technology organization is responsible for enhancing and supporting contact center applications impacting Verizon's sales & service experience. They will be part of an Agile product development team, collaborating closely with business partners, to design and develop the next generation of contact center systems powered by AI. Projects will be delivered in an Agile model with development and unit testing stories due in 3 week sprint increments. Individuals in this role should have a creative and innovative mindset and be able to effectively communicate new ideas to the team. Lastly, they would be expected to develop an understanding of the interconnectivity between enterprise applications to develop well performing solutions at Verizon scale.
