BIM Consultant, Aviation

Woolpert is hiring a BIM Consultant - Aviation to join our dynamic Aviation Delivery National team at our Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) office at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport office. This position reports to the GS Team Leader II and is responsible for Assist with the extraction and conversion of data between BIM, CAD, GIS. Qualified candidates will demonstrate the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Priority will be given to candidates who have Autodesk Revit Architecture Certified Professional certification.

As a BIM Consultant - Aviation at Woolpert, you will:

Assist with the extraction and conversion of data between BIM, CAD, GIS and other platforms
• Assist with converting existing BIM models to match BIM standards
• Have a strong technical background which can assist in the design, analysis and modification of BIM data with minimal supervision
• Assist Develop BIM Execution Plans for new projects
• Quality assurance on BIM model deliverables including clash detection
• Collaborate closely with client staff to deliver BIM data and solutions
• Work with staff to ensure successful project delivery, consistent quality, customer satisfaction
• Understanding of GIS technology for BIM data integration purposes. Assist in the development of new applications, workflows, data standards, and solutions for internal and external clients
• Provide quality reviews of project documentation including work plans thru final deliverables
• Assist the client in data maintenance procedures and processes
• Stay up on the technology and help develop a team that can meet our clients' needs

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, systems troubleshooting, fault isolation/diagnosis and the ability to read, comprehend and follow technical data.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 2+ years of related work experience OR Associate's degree and 5+ years' of related work experience
• Experience with Autodesk Software - REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D. Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internal initiatives

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Autodesk Revit Architecture Certified Professional certification is a plus.
• Experience with ESRI Software is strongly desired but not required
• Experience with Safe Software's FME is strongly desired but not required.
• Experience in aviation projects is desired but not required.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $150,000 per year. Compensation offered will be based on factors such as individual education, experience, qualifications, skillset, and/or location.
