This position salary is $85K, plus benefits, PTO, and 401K. Job Description *District Admin Manager (Northern California)*
*Purpose of the Role:*
A member of the district management team; oversees all administrative processes, performance of the office managers, contributing to the branch meeting goals related to operational functionality, employee engagement, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
*Essential Functions of the Role:*
* Hire, terminate, supervise, and develop office management staff using employee engagement as the foundational management practice/culture, with the goal of a high performing team.
* Provide customer service solutions, including answer phones, resolve complaints, retrieve and respond to phone and email messages, assist with payments, process authorizations.
* Maintain the integrity of the database; act as database "gatekeeper."
* Maintain office equipment, including phones, mobile devices, facsimile, copiers, printers and computers.
* Oversee and assist sales support to Arborists with assistance from district admin team; residential arborist and residential arborist assistant relationships.
* Obtain training in all office functions when required.
* Promote and maintain a positive, neat working environment.
* Administer special projects as assigned, oversee and/or delegate as required.
* Manage In-House and Residential Accounts Receivable in accordance with company policy; review customer accounts regularly and provide status reports to District Manager, RVP's and Arborist.
* Maintain personnel files and manage vacation and sick days taken, as well as other benefits.
* Reconcile payroll hours weekly, process attendance sheets and post employee hours daily.
* Manage Accounts Payable in accordance with company policy.
* Oversee new hire and benefits administration for all employees in conjunction with Human Resources, including workers compensation, disability, unemployment and 401K.
* Any other tasks deemed required by business needs and management.
*What kind of person are we looking for? Someone with:*
* A desire to learn and grow within the business and Arboricultural industry.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and Database systems desired (we will train you on our programs)
* Associate degree or higher (or equivalent work experience) and 2-5 years related experience in office management.
* Demonstrated experience in leadership, management, and supervision of more than one staff
* Demonstrated ability to plan and carry out projects with minimum direction.
* Ability to work effectively with a diverse work group.
* Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
