Your primary duties will include performing heavy cleaning tasks, routine maintenance activities, and notifying management of any repair needs. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently. Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming to ensure a tidy environment.
- Gather and empty trash receptacles, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Service, clean, and restock restrooms with necessary supplies to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Bathroom servicing includes the cleaning of potential bodily fluids and waste.
- Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to enhance the appearance of the facilities.
- Wash windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment to remove accumulated dirt and debris.
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed.
- Prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications and safely use chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Assist in the restoration of building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water using commercial cleaning equipment.
- Notify management of any major repair needs or additions to building operating systems promptly.
- Requisition supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Set up and arrange facilities for events such as banquets and meetings by arranging decorations, tables, chairs, and other equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' previous related experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently on a variety of cleaning projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Professional appearance and demeanor while performing duties.
- Capacity to deliver effective results, meet deadlines, and achieve targets in a timely manner.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills to handle various cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently.
"The pay range for this position starts at $17.50; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
