Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package. About Our Team: The Building & Fire Safety Department provides for protection of workers, the public, the environment, and property from fire and its related hazards. We apply integrated technical judgment, requiring the use of the scientific method to recognize problems, collect data through observation and research, and to engineer, innovate, and deliver fire protection solutions, enabling Sandia National Laboratories to accomplish its missions, while protecting workers, the public, the environment, and key national assets.
