Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Perform administrative and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature. Produce a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate software for word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets. Screen telephone calls and visitors. Route or answer routine inquiries. Maintain files, office supplies, and mail. Prepare special reports. Gather and summarize data. May be assigned to various functional areas of the company.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Under direct supervision, provide general administrative support to a department and/or group of professionals of a basic and routine nature.
  • Screen calls and forward messages. Greet visitors and inform office staff of arrival.
  • Type correspondence, documents, and spreadsheets. May input data into databases.
  • Compile and analyze basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepare charts, graphs, or tables as necessary.
  • Receive and respond to routine correspondence following established procedures.
  • Maintain files of correspondence, reports, records, and contracts.
  • Sort and route mail and packages to the appropriate persons.
  • Coordinate all outbound mail and shipments, including the scheduling of courier as needed.
  • Make copies and file various documents.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
  • May assist administrative department with coordination of office events.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Limited experience performing office support activities required.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
