Review specifications, procedures, protocols, and batch records for Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) compliance to support finished product releases. Administer and support programs required to ensure certification and continued registration to Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards. Provide support in administration of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and hold programs. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned as required * High school diploma or equivalent * Post-secondary education related to food science, biological science, or related sciences preferred * 2 to 4 years of quality systems, food safety, production, or related experience in a food manufacturing environment * Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment such as SQF, HACCP and PCQI certifications * Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP, PMO, USDA, OSHA, and HACCP) * Able to use Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems * Able to keep good records (record keeping skill) * Able to prioritize tasks and work independently * Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail * Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing * Able to take initiative in performing job and seek increased responsibilities * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Able to perform task and duties under general supervision * Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer |
