External Candidate -$1,500.00 sign-on bonus

3rd. Shift 10:30pm to 7:00am Wednesdays, Saturdays OFF.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Operate machinery and perform activities related to bagging and debagging bottles (placing and removing bottles from protective bags) to maintain the integrity and cleanliness of bottles. Review bottles to ensure they meet quality standards before being filled, labeled, or further processed in the production line.



  • JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate bagging and debagging equipment and maintain flow of production.
  • Handle products carefully to avoid damage during the bagging and debagging process.
  • Monitor the process to ensure it meets quality standards, including proper sealing and labeling.
  • Inspect products for any flaws or impurities.
  • Remove defective bottles from production line, and place in bin for recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and minor repairs, to ensure efficient operation.
  • Maintain familiarity with all applicable equipment and provide quality inspections on all related items.
  • Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees; notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
  • Ensure paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information.
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



  • Able to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
  • Able to use company computer systems.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to follow directions.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
