Koch Capabilities, LLC is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team, one that is highly motivated to apply their gifts and abilities to maximize their contribution to Koch's long-term success. This role will partner with Koch Capabilities and Companies to optimize recordkeeping and reporting processes for services provided across the Koch enterprise. By developing and providing financial statement insights and implementing process improvements, this role will be a catalyst for long-term value creation! We are seeking candidates with strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to develop partnerships and drive these results. Our Team The Koch Capabilities US accounting team creates value through superior stewardship of related functions to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable results in the financial statements. This enables the capabilities and key constituencies to conduct meaningful financial analysis and make effective business decisions. What You Will Do * Partner with the finance and accounting departments to bridge differences between capability and consolidated financial reporting, driving effective analysis and decision making * Collaborate with the billing team to improve process reliability and data accuracy, ensuring a seamless customer experience * Support the controller's organization by providing excellent stewardship of the balance sheet through analytics and quality close * Develop solutions to track key balance sheet reconciliation metrics, advancing Koch Capabilities towards best-in-class processes * Gain exposure to a broad range of accounting activities, performed in compliance with financial, regulatory, and Koch accounting policies and guidelines Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience collaborating and building effective partnerships with variety of stakeholders * Experience in an accounting or financial reporting/planning role and being part of a financial reporting/planning & analysis or accounting related project, owning month end close processes and financial reporting processes * Microsoft Office 365 experience, particularly Excel logical and lookup formulas, pivots, and formatting * Experience with accounting ERP systems or reporting systems (particularly OneStream or Infor FSM) * Experience providing variance analysis, developing business insights, and bridging between operational and financial reporting What Will Put You Ahead * Strong communication skills to present and tailor message to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Experience driving process improvement or transformation * Proficiency with extract-transform-load (ETL) tools such as Alteryx to transform processes * Proficiency with financial consolidation and reporting tools, such as OneStream * Proficiency with business insights and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to support effective financial statement stewardship * SQL skills or experience working with relational databases At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
