Serves as health care coach for Finding Wellness program participants reporting to the program directors and program manager. Develops, delivers and documents sustainable goals with participants in a safe supportive environment. Targeted efforts for the WVUM employees participating in the Wellness Rewards Program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's degree in nutrition, fitness, wellness, nursing or healthcare related field. 2. NBHWC certification or ability to obtain NBHWC certification within one (1) year of hire date. EXPERIENCE: 1. Three (3) years of experience in nutrition, fitness or wellness coaching. Must have flexible schedule to be tailored to the participants SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. Training in coaching, fitness or nutrition 2. Experience working with clients/patients/participants 3. Up to date with latest wellness and preventive health information 4. Good organizational skills 5. Compassionate with an optimistic disposition Effective communication 6.
