Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Director - {DB7885347} Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. seeks a Director in New York, NY to partner with the Quant Trading team and with the trading desk to set a strategy for US Treasury electronic trading. Requires a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent and four (4) years of experience coding and developing applications using JAVA and Cucumber test framework; leveraging Object Oriented Programming principles and software engineering best practices, including design patterns, to design and deliver software applications; utilizing tools and technologies including JAVA, Python, Kdb, UNIX, Tibco RV, JMS, GIT, Maven, Gradle, XML, JSON, JUNIT, REST API, HTTP, TCP/IP, Design Patterns and Multithreaded programming to create low latency applications which implement quantitative models for risk management and pricing; developing algorithms for automatic quoting and customer interaction; building US treasury back testing datasets and simulators for client and interdealer venues; building hedging algorithm using C++ to minimize hedging costs for the US treasury desk; conducting risk reviews of a diverse set of trading algorithms spanning multiple trading functions and business areas including credit, European government bonds and foreign exchange asset classes; coordinating each software release cycle by scoping the release with the prioritized feature/defect list, performing testing for each new feature or defect pre- and post-release, raising documentation for the release, and facilitating the release to production; and enhancing design of applications by implementing test harnesses that enable the application to comply with market regulations and internal control frameworks in an automated fashion utilizing Cucumber test framework, Python and FIX protocol.
