We are looking for an experienced and innovative leader to fill the position of AI Portfolio Project Manager within our AI Center of Excellence group based in Houston, TX.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Manage several concurrent projects using the agile scrum technique.
• Lead and coach a team of Project Managers with a highly engaging leadership style that positively influences their performance, productivity, and development.
• Assist business unit client teams in the construction of user stories and assist the team in scoring them.
• Conduct daily standups and weekly retrospectives, maintain product backlogs, and track project increments and progress.
• Manage delivery teams consisting of internal employees, outsourced team members, and product vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, STEM, business or related discipline is required
• Master's degree in computer science, STEM, business or related discipline is preferred
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Agile scrum project management
• Track record of delivering projects with positive business outcomes
• Strong knowledge of AI and ML software landscape
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI).

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Certified in Amazon Web services (AWS) cloud provider is highly preferred.
• Certified in agile scrum project management is preferred.
