The Administrator of Revenue Integrity and Clinical Data Management is the strategic business and operational lead for: Revenue Integrity and Management ( includes Strategic Charge Description Management and Alignment Charge Compliance and Timeliness Charge Audits New Cost Center Service and Procedure Set up Charge Routing Reconciliation and Testing Charge Management Liaison and Process Improvement with Clinical Departments Payer Audit Recovery Training. Utilization Management for Compliant and Financially Cleared Admissions and Observation Stays. Medical Center Technical Coding oversight and management. Clinical Documentation Improvement functions impacting Health System Quality Goals and Standards such as CMI LOS Present on Admission Mortality and Compliant Revenue Cycle performance. Compliance and operational readiness. Strategic alignment of Technical Coding Services CDI UM and Revenue Integrity with the School of Medicine (SOM) and University Physicians Group (UPG) and Medical Center Clinical and Revenue Cycle. The Administrator is the Medical Center Technical Coding CDI UM and Revenue Management and Integrity leader who leads system and process improvement initiatives collaboratively with Health System Clinical Administrative and Revenue Cycle Executive teams to develop strategic direction for quality and revenue cycle initiatives. The Administrator is a standing member of the Revenue Cycle Operations Group and Health System Operations Groups as well as an ICD-10 Executive Leader for the Heath System. This role has direct oversight and responsibility to execute implement and facilitate process improvements and provides guidance direction and support to encompass revenue cycle functions including revenue integrity coding and clinical documentation improvement and utilization management. The Administrator leads and actively participates in the development and implementation of overarching strategic business plans to execute long range.
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree must be obtained within 4 years of hire or transfer. Experience: 10 years relevant experience required Licensure: N/A PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
