Overview

Manages, supervises, and coordinates the operations of assigned clinic(s) and product line(s) by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors and staff. Operational and financial accountability for physician services and other operational assignments.
Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all operations of assigned clinic(s) and product line(s).

  • Responsible for clinical outcomes, financial performance, patient satisfaction scores for the assigned clinic(s) and product line(s).

  • Recruits, trains and evaluates management and supervisory staff.

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates clinic policies, goals, and objectives to ensure delivery of quality care, efficient operations and compliance with regulations of all regulatory agencies so that the Mercyhealth Mission, Vision and Values are fulfilled.

  • Participates in the development and modifications of clinic and product line programs.

  • Interprets and enforces department and institution policies.

  • Participates in the development and modifications of clinic and product line program.

  • Participates in appropriate clinic and health system committees.

  • Investigates and resolves complaints or refers unusual problems to superior.

  • Works closely with Vice President in developing and implementing strategic policies.

  • Maintains continuing development and implementation of clinic and product line QA & I program.

  • Participates in analysis aimed at key initiatives and projects for assigned product line(s).

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.
Three to five years of pervious group practice management experience.

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong planning and organizational skills.

Computer experience.

Special Physical Demands

Level of Supervision

Directs Clinic Manager, Clinic Team Leaders and Supervisors who supervise Clinic Staff. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
