Job Title: Physician Specialist Psychiatrist Location: Osawatomie KS 66064 Duration: 3+ months with possible extension Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Hours: 8.5 hours/day Job Description: Physician will provide psychiatric, and to some extent, medical services. Physician will admit, evaluate, treat patients. Physician will enter required assessment, treatment and discharge planning documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Physician will enter medication orders on pharmacy system. Physician will actively participate in the individualized multidisciplinary treatment process and discharge planning. Physician will participate in hospital wide performance improvement activities and other medical staff functions as assigned. Physician will prepare court reports in collaboration with the treatment team and will attend court hearings as expert witness.
