Responsibilities

The State Farm Innovation Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer with 3D Design/Development Preferences to work on our Metaverse team. We are looking for those who are passionate about creating immersive digital experiences. We're seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with a knack for 3D design and development to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity for engineers to challenge themselves and learn a unique technical stack and experiment with new innovative frameworks and platforms. State Farm and the Metaverse is waiting for someone like you to join this team and contribute towards an immersive digital enterprise.

Responsibilities:
* Strong knowledge and background with Augmented and Virtual Reality hardware and tooling (Meta Quest's, Apple Vision Pro's, 8th Wall, and Unity).
* Proficient in writing and maintaining GitOps CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications.
* Knowledge and experience developing software solutions leveraging multiple languages (C#, Python, JavaScript, Vuejs, A-frame, threejs, etc.).
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS serverless tools such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
* Familiarity and use of test automation tooling to enable continuous integration/delivery pipelines would be valuable.
* Using deployment automation technologies such as Terraform and/or Scalr.
* Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to document our XR architectures and solutions.
* Demonstrated high levels of ownership, initiative, and collaboration/teamwork to work within a team and across Enterprise Technology.
* Understanding of 2D/3D design Libraries/tools (Blender, Adobe Creative Cloud, Unity Asset store, etc.).
* Ability to create, manage, and review product data within Adobe Analytics.
* Able to work and support multiple business partners across the organization and understanding of the Metaverse landscape.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative web and mobile applications.
* Implement responsive UI/UX designs, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.
* Utilize your expertise in front-end and backend technologies to architect scalable and robust solutions.
* Develop custom plugins and extensions to enhance existing platforms and frameworks.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, actively contributing to the team's technical knowledge base.



Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your 3D design and development projects.
* Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue.js), and backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java.
* Familiarity with 3D modeling and animation tools such as Maya, Cinema 4D, or SketchUp.
* Experience working with RESTful APIs and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.

Preferred Skills:
* Experience with AR/VR development and immersive technologies.
* Knowledge of 3D printing technologies and workflows.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
