Position: Legal Intern

Department: Legal

Reporting to: Legal Counsel

Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite

Overview:

Looking to gain valuable legal experience and build a strong foundation for your career? Our Legal Team is seeking a dedicated Legal Intern to assist with a variety of essential tasks, including managing our legal database, scanning and filing documents, and facilitating inter-department correspondence. This role also offers opportunities to contribute to special projects, providing a well-rounded and engaging introduction to the legal field.

What you'll do:

Monitor multiple department inboxes, engaging in necessary correspondence
Assigning task requests and tracking task completion via Monday.com
Collaborate with internal departments and company affiliates to provide updates and information on current projects and processes
Assist with inputting all documents into our legal database
Assist with organizing and scanning of documents, filing, and sending for signatures
Assist with Excel spreadsheet updates
Other projects as assigned

Experience you'll bring:

High School diploma
Pursuing a degree in business, communications, or similar major fields of study
PC knowledge including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn other systems as necessary
Ability to take initiative
Highly detail oriented, motivated, dependable, and quality oriented

Bonus Points:

Experience with DocuSign
Familiarity with contract processes
Experience with Monday.com
