Description: The Digital Marketing Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the digital and technological aspects of the clients Foundation's marketing and communications department. This individual will be responsible for maintaining key marketing technologies, managing website content updates, coordinating email and SMS campaigns, and providing digital administrative support, such as compiling analytics reports. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, detail-oriented multi-tasker with excellent communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. *Can work remotely but must be located in DC metro area to come to office as needed for training, meetings Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities:
Marketing Technology (30%):
- Maintain and update website domains, security certificates, and DNS settings.
- Manage email marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Mailchimp, including audience segmentation, email creation, scheduling, and performance analysis, ensuring adherence to timelines and processes.
- Implement and manage SMS campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring audience segmentation and message delivery, while ensuring adherence to timelines and processes.
Content Management (40%):
- Build pages and update content on AARP Foundation's website, including internal intranet pages.
- Coordinate content creation and publication schedules with internal teams.
Digital Operations Support (30%):
- Verify and process invoices for digital marketing-related expenses.
- Manage audience lists and databases for various marketing initiatives.
- Serve as a central resource for digital operations support and marketing metrics, including reporting/analytics support, business intelligence, and data mining.
Experience Requirements:
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with experience in marketing technology platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics/Omniture, and Smartsheet experience a major plus) and content management systems.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with email marketing and SMS platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred).
- Proficiency with asset and content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Drupal).
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for basic website edits (nice to have).
- Strong understanding of website functionality and familiarity with DNS and security certificates.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools and developing actionable insights.
- Knowledge of marketing automation workflows.
- Proficiency in PC platforms for file manipulation (Microsoft Office Suite) and Adobe Creative Suites programs such as Photoshop (nice to have) and Adobe Acrobat.
