Job Duties
Fitness Center Supervisor
- Monitor athletic facilities including Fitness Center, ARC Gym, Main Arena, and AUX gyms.
- Hire, train, and supervise students or wage employees, including but not limited to WorkDay timecard approval, scheduling, working with the financial aid coordinator to ensure the student work study federal awards are secured and compliant.
- Track facility and equipment usage. Inspect, document, and report equipment fitness and facility equipment.
Game Day Operations Home/Away
- Provide game day operations to sports teams such as clocking, team statistics compilation, score keeping/scoreboard operation and overseeing competitions as gameday manager.
- Set up and tear down for contests and practices.
- Send correspondence of game dates/times with opponents and visiting teams.
- Prepare coaching staff travel packets for transportation and hotels if applicable for away competition.
- Collect and coordinate with the administrative assistant all necessary paperwork from away trips.
- Prepare and maintain contracts.
- Send contracts to risk management when needed.
Website/Social Media Management
- Maintain daily website duties, such as: recaps, schedule drop announcements, roster updates, statistical reporting.
- Support livestreaming needs and upload film to Hudl following athletics competitions.
- Maintain daily posts/interactions on all social media sites.
- Create content for social media.
- Produce and create media day pictures.
- Award submissions for weekly and end of the year awards for both the PSUAC/USCAA.
Requirements and Qualifications
Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check. Employment with the University for this opening will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties. A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
