Overview

Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI) is seeking Tier II Technician. The Tier II Helpdesk Technician responds to work orders and walk in requests for deskside and remote support including hardware, operating system, software, printer, mobile devices, and other end user IT related support requests for staff at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and its geographically separated units.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

    Shall independently resolve all types of software and hardware support requests.
  • Contractor shall be proficient with the current Windows desktop operating environment and installation and configuration of client software.
  • Contractor personnel shall be able to utilize diagnostic software tools, remote management applications, and Active Directory utilities.
  • Technician shall be the first escalation point for Tier I techs and should represent appropriate progression of knowledge from the entry level Tier I positions.


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Must meet DOD 8140 basic requirements for Tech Support Specialist: COMPTIA A+ , Network+ or Security+ CE versions.
  • Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and MS Office


Desired Qualifications

  • COMPTIA A Plus CE and Security Plus CE.
  • Associates or Higher in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 5 years of professional experience.


Physical Demands

  • Ability to work on office automation equipment. Infrequent travel within continental United States.
