PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provides assistance to therapist and leadership to support staff to enhance the patient healing process, recovery and return to independence. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: -None Experience: -Must have two years of experience in a rehabilitative or healthcare setting. Equivalent Education and/or Experience -May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure: -Must have a current Heartsaver CPR course completion card within 90 days of hire and/or placement in job from one of the following:
Skills or Special Abilities: -Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. -Must be able to utilize required software for assigned department. -Must be able to demonstrate patient valued/patient centered care. -Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in meeting age related and handicapped patients' needs. -Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of treatment equipment. -Must be familiar with hospital environment.
