Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Clerk is responsible for preforming supply chain activities including but not limited to distribution, warehouse, storeroom and receiving functions within the facility at the direction of Supply Chain leadership.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Good communication skills required
  • Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Computer knowledge preferred
  • Valid NJ Driver s License preferred
  • Hospital experience preferred

Schedule:

  • Per Diem is based on the operational need of the department. Flexibility in availability is required.
  • Potential shifts may be scheduled between the following time range: 6:00am - 4:30pm

Essential Functions:

  • Performs receiving functions, PAR stocking and replenishment, and storeroom activities using hospital technology
  • Assists SC management in facilitating and expediting the flow of materials to and from departments within the medical center maintaining chain of custody for all products
  • Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, training and initiatives
  • Reports any safety concerns to management,
  • Keeps work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards and obstructions
  • Manages inventory according to policy & procedure
  • Manages all inbound and outbound deliveries in compliance with policy & procedure
  • Manages perpetual inventory as outlined in policy & procedure
  • Exercises problem solving skills to meet customer needs
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Participates in ongoing education as required
