Requisition Summary

PACCAR is seeking a talented Summer Intern to join our Emission Compliance team.This internship will assist in studying, analyzing, documenting Electric vehicle and Powertrainalignment. Inthis role, you will learn the upcoming emission regulations and its impact on PACCAR products. If you are driven to future technology and have strong communication and research skills, we want to meet you!

The internship includes unique learning opportunities such as:

  • Learn first-hand from the industry's top professionals
  • Work directly with Senior Managers and Controllers
  • Develop mentoring relationships with experienced accountants
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience

The internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2025.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Study and Analyze Electric Powertrain architecture as per EPA and CARB Regulation
  • Review and develop Powertrain and Electric Vehicle alignment
  • Study about the Battery Testing, Labeling and serialization process
  • Flexibility to address other assignment as needed
Skills / Competencies

The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • High ethical standards, Self-starter.
  • Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred
Education

Bachelors or Masters in progress. Engineering background preferred.

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
