What Were Looking For:

We are looking for a Team Leader who care about the guest and team member experience and is commitment to maintaining our resort property at the highest level of safety and comfort.

Who You Are:

What Youll Do:

  • This position oversees all laundry operations, to include the coordination of production and the preparation of reports to ensure adequate response to respective hotels needs for Guest Room linen/terry
  • Oversees supervision of personnel, work assignments, and scheduling of product/ equipment usage to maximize performance and productivity of available resources
  • Evaluates individual employee performance, determines areas where need for improvement or requirements for advancement exist, establishes goals, objectives and training needs required to achieve same
  • Establishes production schedules designed to meet the requirements of the respective hotels and monitors activities to ensure that schedules are met
  • Controls chemical purchase and usage so as to maintain acceptable per pound production process cost
  • Complies with required safety regulations and procedure
  • Establishes and ensures adherence to all department and Loews Hotels guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
  • Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
  • As an off-site plant, leader is responsible for additional safety, risk management and human resources responsibility

Your Experience Includes:

  • Three to five years progressive management experience in full-service laundry operation, within the Hospitality industry or a commercial dealing with hospitality clients is required
  • Extensive knowledge of modern laundry equipment operation and production capabilities is required
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays is required
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, equipment operation and maintenance, record-keeping systems is required
  • Effective leadership, organizational and communication skills is required
  • Knowledge of the mechanics of laundry equipment is preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality housekeeping or laundry environments is preferred
  • Bi-lingual language skills is preferred

Who Youll Supervise:

  • A team of Laundry Team Members to include Assistant Plant Laundry, wash persons, laundry attendants and drivers responsible for maintaining the delivery hotel linen and dry cleaning that meets the Loews standards of quality control and timeliness.
