About the role:

In a Project Management - Technology role, you'll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new internal information systems and applications, new technology integrations, and infrastructure build-outs.

About the team:

We are a group of Project Managers of all levels working with our Banking Solutions line of business to implement world class Item Processing software for financial institutions of all sizes. You will be working with the Item Processing Implementations team working with projects of all sizes and complexities.

What you will be doing:

Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects. Projects may be focused on development of new or upgraded products and services, internal information system-specific projects that may involve development or enhancement of internal applications, technology integration and/or infrastructure environment build-out, delivery by service teams for outsourced solutions to external clients or delivery of new or enhanced products and/or services to improve customer satisfaction through use of technology.

  • The position involves managing medium to large projects, leading a team of 10 to 50 members, with a budget of up to$4M, and project duration of 6 to 12 months.
  • The role also involves some coaching and mentoring junior project management and support staff.
  • Projects will be of medium to high risk and complexity and have high visibility to clients and/or FIS.
  • Working with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams.
  • Managing project risk and assisting with problem resolution.
  • Serving as liaison between technical and non-technical teams.

What you bring:

  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.
  • Advanced skills with project management software.
  • A bachelor's in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Knowledge of financial products and industry.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.00 - $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
