Position Summary Information

Minimum Qualifications	Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Expertise in full-stack web development, specifically with the Drupal 10 CMS. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
License/Certification Required
Preferred Qualifications	Master's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field. Significant experience in managing web development teams. Experience in the higher education field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities	The Drupal Administrator/Full Stack Developer will assist in the oversight of the migration of the AppState.edu website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10, mentoring a team of developers and contributing to full-stack development tasks as App State grows and enhances its digital ecosystem. This position is ideal for a dynamic, technically skilled individual who thrives in a collaborative and innovative university setting, aiming to significantly impact the digital landscape of Appalachian State University, and requires a unique blend of leadership, technical acumen, and project management skills. Duties and Responsibilities Include: Website Migration: Oversee the migration process of AppState.edu from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption. Development Work: Engage in hands-on full-stack development tasks, contributing to both front-end and back-end aspects of the website. Project Management: Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely and efficient completion of web projects. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, staying updated with the latest web technologies and trends. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including the Web Strategy and Content Director, to align web development efforts with organizational objectives.
