Position Overview: The Testing Center Proctor is responsible for proctoring students in a computer lab environment. The incumbent will perform proctor duties when necessary The commitment to maintaining the integrity of the testing environment. Applicant cannot be a CON student or pre-nursing student.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Proctors exams in in-person and online testing for the College of Nursing.
- Enforces, and follows established protocol and policy for the testing center to ensure exam integrity and execution of policy.
- Records student testing anomalies reported by proctors in both in-person and online testing environments. Reports to CON nursing leadership.
- Addresses technology issues that students may experience while testing when proctors are unable to resolve. Escalates these issues to the appropriate team for reconciliation.
- Maintains and updates knowledge of current operating technology.

- MS Office Suite
- Google Office Suite
Experience/Education:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Holds high degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to provide directions to individiuals and groups.
- Ability to follow established procedures and protocols.
- Must be prompt and have a sense of time limits.
Experience:
- Experience with MS Office software and Windows environments
- Experience with Google office suite
- Experience with Learning Management (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
