WellSky is looking to hire a Sr Corporate Risk and Compliance Manager! This job is responsible for overseeing and managing WellSky's risk management and corporate compliance program and provides direction and guidance to organizational leaders and management. The scope of this job includes developing and performing compliance risk assessments; managing the corporate policy and procedure library; and developing appropriate training to support corporate compliance initiatives.

A day in the life!

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and supporting the completion of compliance risk assessments distinguishing between solution and enterprise compliance obligations. Partnering with organizational leaders and management to identify, assess, and document mitigation activities for compliance risks that may impact the organization.
  • Providing guidance to management on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices; assessing current processes and documentation to recommend improvements; and effectively partner with organizational leaders and management to draft, revise, and maintain WellSky's inventory of compliance policies and procedures consistent with changing state and federal compliance requirements.
  • Managing and investigating compliance breaches or incidents. Developing action plans to prevent recurrence and ensure that appropriate disciplinary actions are taken if necessary.
  • Developing and implementing technical specifications/requirements for ongoing configuration and improvement of WellSky's implementation of the Onspring GRC platform. This platform is intended to be the central repository/index, workflow manager, and reporting tool for all risk management, policy management, and incident investigations.
  • Partnering with WellSky's learning management function to support the development, distribution, and documentation of training and education for workforce members on WellSky policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring proposed and implemented changes to applicable regulations. Developing analysis and reporting

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field
  • 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field (experience in corporate setting preferred)

Do you stand above the rest?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, Certified Risk Manager)
  • Familiarity with Onspring or other GRC tool implementation and configuration
