As a part of the UnitedHealthcare Government Programs Marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to work within a major consumer marketing operation serving America's Medicare and Exchange health plan members. Our team executes on a variety of marketing activities, which will give you exposure and the potential to be involved in the responsibilities listed below.

If you are located in Minnetonka, MN, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

**This full-time hybrid internship position will be available Summer 2025**

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Brand: Help develop marketing, brand campaign and content plans while supporting messaging and project execution related to brand initiatives
  • Digital: Aid in the execution of email / social / web marketing communications campaigns
  • Demand Generation: Assist with analyzing marketing campaign performance, marketing collateral development, and campaign execution
  • Customer Segmentation: Work closely with internal teams as well as external vendors on planning and execution of consumer marketing initiatives
  • Market Research and Competitive Intelligence: Research industry and competitive trends and data to inform product and marketing strategies
  • Customer Experience: Create comprehensive journey maps outlining things such as end to end member experiences and business processes
  • Marketing Operations: Collaborate with Marketing and various partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing campaigns to our consumers

Required Qualifications:



  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, business or another related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and processes in a dynamic environment
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
