Overview

Women and Children's Admin - Moline, IL (Leads all depatrments within Maternal Child including Moline and Bettendorf)

RN Maternal Lead

Full Time - 0.9 FTE

Night Shift - 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Routine schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. No set weekend rotation works weekends rarely to cover for vacations. Works 1/3 of holiday rotation.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures the daily organization of the department by helping to manager, coordinate, plan, and evaluate nursing procedures and personnel in the delivery of patient care, in coordination with the Nurse Manager and Nursing Supervisor.
  • Assists with staffing the units and acts as a division resource to the staff.
  • Assists with staff development and education as well as direct patient care.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Diploma from an RN program

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Maternal or Newborn Or Pediatrics (does not require proficiency in all 3 areas)

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Illinois and Iowa.
  • Must possess and maintain current BLS, NRP, and ACLS or PALS
