Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the The Office of Undergraduate Admissions within the Division of Enrollment Management-New Brunswick. This position reports to the Senior Admissions Officer for out-of-sate Recruitment and Outreach.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Oversees the recruitment efforts planned and implemented within their assigned out of state EPS Markets.
- Handles market planning, budget oversight and the creation of market analysis reports upon completion of the cycle.
- Handles planning and coordination of high school visits, fairs and panels, online/virtual events, communications campaigns, and other programs to foster relationships with out of state counselors and students.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in a program coordination or administrative function.

Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.

- Ability to demonstrate solid judgment, organizational, planning, coordination, time management, multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Ability to handle considerable and varied responsibilities.
- Ability to work well independently and on a team.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Previous experience in higher education setting.
- Experience working with diverse populations of students, staff, and faculty.
- Experience in college admissions office or as a high school counselor preferred.

- Will require some evenings and /or weekend.
