Job DescriptionManage student applicant caseload, offering personalized advice and addressing questions on enrollment, financial aid, and student progression. Collaborate with internal departments to support students, conduct outreach efforts, and liaise with faculty to ensure effective communication and assistance for prospective students.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students, and community members. Responsible for recruitment strategies tailored to engage high school students, educators, and community members, promoting dual credit opportunities, workforce training programs, and college readiness initiatives to increase enrollment and participation in targeted areas. Provide personalized guidance and support to student applicants, ensuring all applicant requirements are met while effectively navigating the admissions process to assist prospective students. Manage all aspects of admissions and administrative tasks, including registration, enrollment, document collection, and data entry, while ensuring accurate maintenance of student records and tracking of activities to meet monthly engagement targets and semester admissions objectives. Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration with faculty, staff, and other departments to ensure student success, actively responding to general applicant inquiries using various communication methods and partnering with relevant stakeholders as required. Collaborate with internal departments (Admissions, Registrar's Office, Operations, and Student Services) to support students and monitor progress. Efficiently utilize software systems for tracking prospective student outreach and follow-up while updating and managing reports on all communication sent to applicants and students and providing recommendations for communication updates. Engage with diverse community locations, including high schools, by attending events to represent and promote TSTC, offering comprehensive information about TSTC programs, and assisting individuals with the application process to foster awareness and interest in TSTC offerings. Assist in organizing Pre-College Programs like the Challenger, MAARS Program, STEM camps, and community events. Lead missions, programs, classes, workshops, and educational activities associated with the Challenger Program. Manage records, ensure program quality, help set program goals, troubleshoot technical issues, plan activities, and coordinate communication with school representatives.
Education/Experience:
Some college or Associate's Degree required. 1-3 years preferred experience in customer services. 1-3 years preferred experience in recruitment, enrollment or admissions.

Organization and Attention to Detail: This individual displays strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient task completion. This includes managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, maintaining structured processes, and delivering high-quality results.
