Is an internship passionate about changing the world's energy future intriguing? If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for! In this paid internship You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team on one or more of several projects. These projects include:
The Ideal Candidate will have programming experience in C++ / Python, experience or coursework in materials modeling or experience with phase-field modeling, machine learning, or computational mechanics, or thermodynamic modeling, and/or familiarity with MOOSE Framework / Thermochimica / FactSage / Thermocalc. You will be reporting to the Computational Mechanics and Materials group. This team works a 9x80 schedule, and works onsite at our Idaho Falls campus. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university. Qualifications
