What this job involves -
JLL is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team! This position entails working with various teams in different departments at a client site. This role provides a wide variety of support services to the client office and the ideal candidate is detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a team player attitude. Your day to day: Responsibilities: Perform shipping and receiving duties such as, preparing items for shipment, printing shipping labels, collecting and delivering shipments to and from various departments, etc. Receive freight, packages, mail. Verify receipts are identified entered into tracking system and are posted to Bayer payables system. Identify the correct recipient and label packages to be delivered. Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base. Responsible to make arrangements for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times. Required to forward a requisition for shipping materials to the Department Supervisor for approval. Adhere to all JLL and client policies and procedures in a safe manner Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Regular and predictable attendance is required Any and all other duties as assigned Sound like you? To apply you need: High school diploma, GED or equivalent At least 1 year working in Biopharma or Pharmaceutical industry preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Team player with excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs, bending, and stooping Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly | |
