Physical Therapist II - Advanced Level Rehab Services

Full Time - First Shift

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting the coordinator for administration of the Physical Therapy Department. Maintain open communication with doctors and other health care professionals. Will assist director with the day-to-day needs of the Physical Therapy department, including educating, training, and precepting new staff, monitoring staffing needs related to productivity and take an active role with education of PT staff, hospital staff and community at large. The therapist must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental, vision. Hearing, or mobility. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.

  • Provides healthcare services using cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures.

  • Promotes effective procedural workflow and works as a team to facilitate the department's ability to provide quality patient care

  • Complies with regulatory guidelines

  • Demonstrates professional judgement in performance of services and maintains demeanor complementary to medical ethics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a APTA accredited school of physical therapy.

  • Must possess a current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Kentucky or be licensure eligible.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • A full-time therapist with a minimum of two years of clinical experience. Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Physical Requirements: Strength, Manual Dexterity, Coordination, Mobility, Visual Discrimination
