Intern Engineer - Azure

Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of business principles. Administration Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in a related field.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Azure Automation Interns Will:

• Complete Azure training, shadowing, and daily tasks in the Azure tenant, based on interest
• Automate the management of our Azure cloud infrastructure
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs and usage
• Implement security best practices and protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve hard problems, release code, and identify and troubleshoot technical issues

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology)
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and the Azure platform
• Experience with common scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with the Agile development process
• Experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices
• Experience with system administration tasks (e.g. installing, configuring, and maintaining systems) on Windows or Linux platforms
• Public speaking and presenting experience

Target salary range: USD $29.00/Yr. - USD $29.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
