How you'll make an impact: The Director, Infinity is a senior-level leader accountable for the growth and development of PMI's portfolio of AI solutions including their Gen AI Platform. This role oversees a team in the development and execution of AI integrations within PMI's product portfolio, while also driving innovation to push the Infinity platform forward. This leader will leverage relationships both internally and externally to promote the value and benefits of the platform to expand usage, drive growth, and support the project management community globally. They will also enhance PMI's overall impact by continuing to define and refine work processes, providing a steady leadership & mentoring presence, and serving as a thought leader within the organization Essential Duties of the role:
- Identify, explore and develop AI-driven opportunities in project management for the purpose of developing an AI product portfolio and roadmap for PMI.
- Lead the assessment, design, development, integration, and life cycle management of PMI's AI-developed products and solutions including PMI GEN AI platform.
- Lead a team of product managers, designers, researchers, data scientists, and engineers in developing AI-powered solutions for project professionals.
- Create opportunities to expand sales and usage through leveraging third-parties to integrate PMI solutions into other leading project management products.
- Be the voice of PMI's Infinity platform and promote its values and benefits both internally and externally to support the profession.
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities or related field.
- 10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
- Must have experience working in a SaaS product development environment.
- Must have experience leading large, cross-functional product teams, including design, research, data science, engineers, etc...
- Must have experience building product analytics dashboards working with data science and/or data engineering teams.
- Software startup experience is valuable.
- Valid certifications in AI skills are valuable.
Skills & Abilities
- Must have in-depth knowledge about agile product development and rapid prototyping and rapid deployment methodologies
- Understanding of GenAI models, and knowledge of LLMs like GPT 3, 3.5, 4, 4-o, including their capabilities & limitations
- Ability to interpret large datasets to inform product decisions and identify potential data biases.
- Familiarity working with engineering teams on ML basics.
- Ability to create roadmaps for new emerging technology products with business models, goals, and market trends inputs.
- Ability to understand users, personas, build empathy, and design products that meet those needs.
- Ability to identify and prioritize features based on user feedback, GMV impact and other business needs.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams.
