First Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday

Minimum Job Requirements


  • Physical- Capable of occasionally lifting 50 lbs. safely or with assistance, moving about the plant without assistance, climb ladders, good visual acuity
  • Working Hours- Fulltime (40+hours/week) and available as necessary for emergency maintenance issues.
  • Personal Traits- Good communication skills with positive teamwork and attitude.
  • Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals, blueprints and schematics.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and building equipment as assigned. Timely completion of job functions. Authority to requisition parts and maintenance supply items including responsibilities to correspond with vendors as required subject to approval. Meet deadlines and following Quality System procedures. Authority to operate company forklift if trained.



  • Work safely and ensure all hazardous conditions are eliminated.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done.
  • Follow Quality System procedures.
  • Perform extensive preventative maintenance as directed or as scheduled.
  • Perform minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building and equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures per Quality procedures. Including scheduled inspections, maintenance and replacement of belts, fluids, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; repair or replace broken parts.
  • Work safely on scissors lift to a height of 20 feet.
  • Thread metal piping 1/8" to 2" diameter with power hand threader.
  • Run/repair sch. 80 PVC and CPVC piping 1/8" to 4".
  • Weld/light fabricate with Wire Feed welder. Complete work as assigned at Wisconsin Finishes.
  • Install electrical wiring and equipment, new electrical service, replace and repair wiring as needed.
  • Repair electrical equipment and control circuits; replace faulty electrical switches; repair refrigeration equipment.
  • May assist with the implementation of fire and safety procedures, conduct fire drills, verify that smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are operational.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
  • Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • General knowledge to perform routine, extensive and preventative maintenance on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.
  • Good organization skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Experienced in electrical wiring and in reading schematics.
  • Must be able understand and comprehend electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, along with good research skills for appropriate solutions.
  • Experience with Cincinnati and Amada press brake and punch press as well as Mazak machining equipment is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift driving experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills.


Education and Experience


  • 2-year technical school or associates degree with 2-5 years of experience in similar function is preferred. May consider candidates with considerable related experience.
