Dayforce HCM - Senior Consulting Manager

Job Summary:

To support our double-digit growth goals, BDO Digital seeks a Dayforce Senior Manager who will be part of an Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) team supporting projects in the areas of EBA strategy and implementation, in addition to Business Transformation and Operational Excellence efforts. This role will conduct discovery, requirements gathering, process documentation, configuration, and implementation management of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), HCM (Human Capital Management) and other related business applications functioning as a key resource for our clients spanning, finance, product distribution, manufacturing, job costing, field service, sales, marketing, service, and reporting.

As one of first Dayforce System Integrator partners for HCM, BDO has established a strong presence in North America as a strategic partner. Our team has been rapidly growing, having increased 5x in 2022 with a rapidly expanding base of clients.

Job Duties:



  • Oversees project delivery, ensuring consistent application of BDO quality and project management standards and overall project milestones are met
  • Works in partnership with BDO industry leaders, our Dayforce Practice Leader, and our National Technology Leader, assisting in building a market plan to grow BDO's presence in the HCM market and scale our opportunity pipeline
  • Builds the capabilities of the delivery team, through attracting additional experienced Dayforce practitioners to BDO and developing talent new to the Dayforce ecosystem
  • Supports strategic sales pursuits, leveraging the core team to prepare and deliver proposals, sales support material, demos & POCs, etc.
  • Monitors and manages the financials of projects, driving profitability and mitigating risk
  • Understands current trends in HCM processes and technologies, both current and future, and applies this knowledge in building BDO's presence in the Canadian HCM market
  • Drives team culture through embodying a spirit of optimism, curiosity
  • Other duties as required


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Owns and drives completion of key workstreams for the team as directed by project leaders
  • Manages project workstreams for the team as directed
  • Mentors and develops entry level consultants and senior consultants


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree AND ten (10) or more years of industry experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, required; OR High School Diploma/GED AND twelve (12) or more years of industry experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, required


Experience:



  • Ten (10) or more years overseeing a practice or team responsible for cloud technology implementations, required
  • Five (5) or more years overseeing HCM project delivery, required
  • Experience overseeing teams responsible for HCM implementations, preferred
  • Experience driving sales pursuits, business development, demos and POCs, preferred
  • Experience with project financials and project governance to drive quality and mitigate risk, preferred
  • Experience leading and facilitating client workshops and sessions, preferred
  • Some client facing best practice consulting experience, preferred
  • Experience with business process mapping, preferred


License(s)/Certification(s):



  • One or more current business applications technology certifications, preferred


Software:



  • Experience with one or more of the following Dayforce solutions, required:

    • Talent Intelligence
    • Workforce Management (WFM)
    • Benefit Intelligence
    • Human Resources (HR)
    • Advanced HR Analytics
    • Payroll

  • Experience with Dayforce, ADP, UKG, Workday, Oracle or SAP, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $165,000 - $195,000
Colorado Range: $165,000 - $195,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $165,000 - $195,000
Washington Range: $165,000 - $195,000
Washington DC Range: $165,000 - $195,000
