TV Station Job Description
KOMU-TV, a full-powered NBC and CW affiliate proudly owned by the University of Missouri, seeks an individual to serve as the business manager of the department, serving the needs of KOMU 8's News, Promotion and Sales Departments. This position is responsible for managing the business-related functions for KOMU-TV, including but not limited to budget management, accounting, and human resource functions in coordination with the Division of Operations and other MU/UM offices. The focus is to provide timely, accurate, effective, and efficient financial information to KOMU management/administrative staff and division leadership, to support the establishment and implementation of effective systems that build the foundation for successful operations, and to recommend sound business practices and action. This position provides direct services and support to staff and students within the department; specifically, it ensures the effective use of resources (fiscal, capital and human) in helping the departments contribute to overall success. Responsibilities Include:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Strong numerical proficiency, organization, good problem-solving skills, excellent leadership skills, and attention to detail is important. Proficient knowledge of excel preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
