Summary Oversight of the continual improvement of the project health and safety program, systems, and processes that meet or exceed the company/project objectives. The Site Safety and Health Officer will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate policies, practices and strategies are defined and enforced in accordance with local and government regulations and are followed at the project site. Investigate safety and health incidents and complaints. Evaluate the impact of contractual requirements, emerging issues, regulations, and legislation to operations. The Site Safety and Health Officer serves as the program expert and promotes overall compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines, including communicating technical expertise. The position requires strong team management, leadership, clear communication, and the ability to develop solid inter-departmental relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
