Assists the physical, occupational and speech therapist in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the Rehabilitation Services Department and the hospital. Assists with clerical duties of Rehabilitation Services and other assigned supportive tasks as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. Responsible for assisting the licensed clinicians in the treatment of patients, adhering to instructions given by the clinicians and following established treatment routines. All transfers, lifts and re-positioning will be completed utilizing the lift equipment and/or other patient handling aids as indicated by the patient's profile and appropriate algorithms.
