Procurement Job Description
This position will identify, record, tag, and inventory all capital equipment assets for the University of Missouri System, including University of Missouri-Columbia, University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of Missouri St. Louis, and Missouri University of Science and Technology. Position duties and responsibilities include: run capital asset reports weekly for all system business units, identify responsible officers for each asset, including department and permanent location, enter new asset information in asset management system, apply physical tag/serial number on each newly acquired asset, ensure annual capital asset inventories are conducted by responsible officers, and update information accordingly in the asset management system, review equipment in process status for each business unit monthly, ensure capital assets are properly disposed through the University Surplus Asset program. Shift
7am to 3:30pm, or 7:30am to 4pm, or 8am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Outlook, Excel, great attention to details, organized, ability to multi-task, ability to do light moving of equipment to tag assets. Anticipated Hiring Range
