Your Role

Your job will be to combine creativity and technical knowledge to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. You will collaborate with our broader design team to develop design solutions and coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. What You Will Do

  • Work closely with Design Director, Studio Director, Design Manager, Design team to develop architectural solutions from conceptual level through construction documentation.

  • Render and produce high-quality visualizations and diagrams: Create compelling graphics and renderings that effectively communicate design intent.

  • Develop and study design options: Analyze and refine design ideas through sketches, 3D models, and iterations based on initial concepts.

  • Collaborate with a Project Architect (PA): Work closely with a PA to develop detailed drawing sets and technical documents.

  • Direct preparation of conceptual designs, space plans, presentations, design development.

  • Lead coordinate with Design/Technical team and Project/Design Manager(s).

  • Lead coordinate with client team, project manager, construction manager and others to develop design deliverables and freehand sketches.

  • Review and manage project program and design deliverables.

  • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.

  • Drive project sustainability targets throughout project phases and actively engage in delivering them. Coordinate sustainability targets with project consultants and engineers.

  • Implement sustainable design strategies in every project stage and investigate solutions to sustainable design challenges.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to optimize sustainability performance through design iterations and research.

  • Lead climate focused analysis and studies for each project.

  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited school

  • 2-5 years of architectural project experience (core and shell).

  • Proficiency in Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, Unreal, Stable Diffusion, Grasshopper, Climate Studio, and your pen highly preferred.

  • Outstanding graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas.

  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices.

  • Ability to learn, collaborate, and solve complex problems.

The successful candidate may not have a mastery of all noted tools, but generally should be comfortable navigating across 3D modelling, visualizing, and presentation platforms to create compelling diagrams & imagery.

**The base salary will be estimated between $75,000 - $92,000 annually plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
