We are seeking a Software Engineer II for our Security Risk Engineering team. Our goal is to understand the threats we face from emergent attacks and help them mitigate against real world adversary tactics, tools, and procedures utilizing a data driven approach. As part of the Microsoft Security organization, you will have a direct impact in contributing to 'Security above all else' as part of the Microsoft Secure Future Initiative (SFI), driven by our mission to protect customer data and privacy in the world's largest productivity suite. You'll work directly on advanced technologies, protecting our M365 services with cutting-edge security solutions including access control, secrets management, data analysis, DevOps, and engineering processes. ResponsibilitiesWork closely with internal research teams to identify and understand discrete threats to online services. Work with our data platform to collect and analyze security data to identify actionable insights. Create data products to identify, prioritize, and drive action across the company to mitigate key security risks. Helping drive teams to deliver competitive online services with world class security across all organizations.Deliver impact while fostering strong and inclusive collaboration with engineering teams and partner teams across Microsoft.Understand the threat landscape and define security risk and remediation guidance.OtherEmbody our Culture and Values | |
