We're looking for a Principal Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers to design and build the next generation of endpoint protection. This includes championing fundamentals such as performance and reliability, scaling to platforms big and small, and driving foundational changes throughout the entire Defender stack. ResponsibilitiesPartner with multiple teams across Microsoft both on the Engineering and Security Research side, architecting and implementing solutions deeply integrated into the Defender stack Execute on architecture, design, code reviews, and development Foster a healthy and inclusive team environment Provide hands-on technical leadership: architecture, design, code reviews, development, quality assurance. Collaborate across partner teams in Microsoft. Lead and grow a team of high performing engineers. Mentor, coach, hire, retain and grow top talent. Foster a healthy and inclusive team environment. Embody Microsoft Culture and Values Taking part in code reviews, both as a reviewer and a reviewee, to ensure the quality of the software and promote best practices within the team.
