90% FTE, 8/10 hour shifts between 7:00am - 7:00pm, Monday - Friday. No weekends or on-call hours. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position is hybrid and includes onsite work at American Family Children's Hospital and University Hospital in Madison, WI as well as travel to various affiliate locations within the area.

We are seeking an RN - Clinical Program Coordinator for the Pediatric Cath Lab to:



  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advance practice providers, registered nurses, nutritionists, medical assistants and appointment schedulers to plan, direct and evaluate the care provided to pediatric patients in the cath lab environment, primarily in the hybrid peds cath lab located at American Family Children's Hospital. This hybrid position will also include providing direct patient care in the cath lab environment.
  • Provide expertise in clinical care standards and workflows related to the pediatric cath/EP program and adult congenital program utilizing evidence-based practice standards to assure consistent high-quality care and a positive patient and family experience across the continuum of care. Preferred experience includes: pediatric cath lab, pediatric surgical services, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED, pediatric procedural care, pediatric IMC or ICU or adult cath lab/IR experience.
  • Coordinate meetings, collect data and educate patients and staff members as well as provide care coordination with inpatient and outpatient teams at American Family Children's Hospital, East Madison Hospital, University Hospital, UW Health Northern Illinois Health System, and other affiliated sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
  • Master's Degree in business administration, management, public health, or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3 years of work experience in a health care setting Required
  • Experience leading programs and/or project with teams Required
  • Experience in Cardiology and Surgery program development. Knowledge and experience in development, implementation and evaluation of clinical programs Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed as RN in State of WI Required
