We Require
One year of clerical/administrative or customer service experience High school diploma or GED A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Experience performing clerical job duties in a court-related environment Experience performing cash-handling duties Bilingual English/Spanish skills
Job Contributions
Provide routine data entry functions on various databases Maintain records and files; sort and merge documents by type, year, and case numbers; prepare documents for scanning Prepare copies for delivery to internal and external agencies Receive records, releases, and maintain court exhibits, confidential items, transcripts, and depositions; request records and files from other departments Complete various reports; process various orders from the Court Provide customer service to internal and external customers, governmental agencies, and the general public and respond to public correspondence and request Issue marriage licenses and passports; respond to telephone inquiries; perform research on various case files; certify, exemplify, and authenticate documents, etc. Distribute payments and release funds on hold; receive and process various payments made to the Court
Working Conditions
Work is primarily in an office setting; requires long periods of sitting while completing manual clerical task and computer activities Travel may be required in and around Maricopa County Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. floor to waist, wait to shoulder, and carry/push for a distance of 30 feet
